Bushcraft and Wilderness Survival Summer School for Youth

(10 days, from 10 am to 5 pm)

About the Bushcraft and Wilderness Survival Summer School for Youth

The Summer School for Youth program is for youth who are motivated and want to develop their outdoor life skills. ONE WITH NATURE offers an ideal outdoor learning environment and all youth attending our summer school must be prepared to learn. This is not a typical summer camp with songs and games. Youth will work on developing their physical and mental skills while acquiring bushcraft and wilderness survival techniques including the safe and appropriate uses of bushcraft knives, axes, saws and shovels. In this program, we also cover various topics such as safe fire lighting techniques, shelter building, orientation & navigation, finding food and water sources, food cooking and water purification techniques, trip planning, plant identification and animal behaviour. Participants will learn how to make use of their natural surroundings without damage to it. Advice on how to build their own personal family survival kit will also be given. Our aim is to foster a deeper connection with nature and teach a new generation how to care for it. During the program, teens will build a significant connection with nature. The main part of the program incorporates hands-on skills building activities.

Each group has a maximum of 10 participants.
