Summer Camp Wilderness Survival and Bushcraft Skills for Kids
(July 5-16, July 26-August 9, August 16-27, from 10 am to 6 pm)
About the wilderness survival summer camp for kids
Our Summer Camp Wilderness Survival and Bushcraft Skills are for children aged 12 to 16 years old. Every group has a maximum of 10 children. This program focuses on safety outdoors and entry-level wilderness survival and bushcraft skills. The course significantly improves children's confidence and safety outdoors. Teaching children to be closer to nature and using different tools and sources from the natural environment without damaging wildlife helps prepare them for unexpected situations. In doing so, we also aim to encourage and cultivate a new generation that cares for nature.
The program covers knowledge about wildlife, safe fire lighting techniques, open fire cooking, trip planning, risk assessment, survival priorities, safe handling techniques for knife, axe, saw and shovel use, shelter construction strategies, navigation basics and advice on how to build your personal and family Wilderness Survival Kits.
Making use of nature’s resources as harmlessly as possible is our priority. Thus, during our programs, not a single living tree is damaged. The Summer Camp Wilderness Survival and Bushcraft Skills program illustrates how to use natural materials without disturbing nature at the same time.
