This two-day private family program is designed to deepen your family’s practical knowledge and self-reliance in the outdoors. Building on the foundations of our introductory family program, Outdoor Living Wilderness Survival and Bushcraft Skills for Families expands your experience through guided hands-on activities and skill development.
Over the course of two days (6 hours per day), your family will learn how to manage unexpected situations in wilderness settings, practice critical bushcraft techniques, and gain real experience in safe outdoor living without staying overnight. The program is adapted to meet each family’s unique needs and experience level, and includes learning together as a unit while also supporting individual learning styles—especially between children and adults.
With two instructors assigned to each session—one focusing on the children and one on the adults—your family benefits from targeted learning in a unified environment. Families work together on shared tasks while each member contributes meaningfully to the experience.
Topics include survival priorities, safe and effective use of bushcraft tools, knot tying, shelter theory and construction, navigation, fire building, and situational awareness. Nature connection and environmental responsibility are woven throughout all activities.
