Bushcraft and Wilderness Survival Summer School for Kids
(10 days, from 10 am to 4 pm)
About the Bushcraft and Wilderness Survival Summer School for Kids
The Summer School for Kids program is for kids who are interested in developing their outdoor life skills. Our Summer School is a learning environment and not a typical camp. Kids who are motivated to learn are welcome to attend. In this program we introduce various topics such as safe fire lighting techniques, shelter building, safe tool use, orientation & navigation, finding food and water sources, food processing and water purification techniques, trip planning, plant identification and animal behaviour. Participants will learn how to make use of their natural surroundings without damage to it. Advice on how to build their own personal family survival kit will also be given. Our aim is to foster a deeper connection with nature and teach a new generation how to care for it.
